WVP vs. WVP Lite

WVP is Wolf Video Poker, the full featured game.
WVP Lite is Wolf Video Poker Lite.

Even though it is a scaled down WVP, WVPL is still a great tool for learning to play video poker and has more features than most games at higher prices. It has the Basic Chart generation tools of WVP that no other game has been able to correctly emulate. It also has all the pre-configured games of WVP, with the ability to change the payoff tables to simulate the games in your area and create strategies. Here is a listing of the key differences between the two games.

• WVP Lite has no Shuttle Chart.
• There is only one Random Number Generator, the Mersenne Twister, and no option to reseed.
• You cannot Define the Hands Played in the session.
• WVP Lite only has the Basic Chart, and not the Intermediate or Penalty Charts. A Penalty Chart is synonymous with perfect play, which is always the best play on a hand. WVP Lite does have a perfect play trainer embodied by the Perfect Play Hand Stats window, which can be referenced for any hand at any time. However, there is no mechanism to evaluate a session relative to perfect play.
• You cannot 'Tweak' the charts.
• You cannot program the Speed Buttons.
• There is no 'Advanced' button in the Change Payoff Tables window, and you cannot Split the Natural/ Wild Payoffs.
• There is no Computer Player.
• There is no Excel Bankroll Assistant.
• You cannot Import / Export Games and/ or Strategy Charts.
• There are no bankroll statistics, such as Risk of Ruin and the averaged Return per Hour.
• There are no Standard Deviation Curves to analyze bankroll.

There is no penalty in this transition, just the difference in price between the two games. Once contacted, I will instruct you on removing your license to the Lite game and provide the details on purchasing the upgrade.
